Anna Weidner

I fell in love with La Crosse on my first campus tour of UW-L in 2012– so much so, in fact, I came back for 5 more campus tours that same year. I have family nearby in Caledonia, MN and Waukon, IA – so La Crosse just felt like home. I couldn’t wait to get on campus to start my college adventure!

Fast forward 8 years… I’m still here, and I don’t plan on ever leaving.   Last summer I got engaged to Holmen Native, Colin Luz, who owns Coulee Region Moving Services. We’ve recently settled into a new home in La Crescent, and our wedding is planned for April 2021.

I did spend some time away from La Crosse during my college years, however. I spent two summers interning in Washington, DC – the first summer for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, and the second summer for the United States Congress. In 2015 I spent three months studying abroad in Alicante, Spain where I lived with the most amazing Spanish family, who I still talk to nearly every week. While living in Spain I was lucky enough to spend a weekend in Munich during Oktoberfest – an experience I will never forget!

While I loved my adventures in Washington, D.C. and Europe, I couldn’t wait to get back to La Crosse. In May 2017 I graduated from UW-La Crosse with a degree in Communications and Spanish. The very next day I started my first full-time job working for More Than Just Great Dancing and teaching at Misty’s Dance Unlimited in Onalaska.

In May of 2018 I was hired for my dream job – to be the Head Dance Team Coach at Viterbo University! Dance is my absolute passion, and while I enjoy performing, I LOVE coaching. Connecting with the dancers, planning for the season, mixing music, choreographing routines, recruiting and growing the program – I love everything about it. The Viterbo Dance Team was a team of 9 when I started coaching in 2018. This upcoming season, 2020-2021, we will have a roster of 34! This team has blown up in all of the best ways, and I am grateful beyond measure to do what I love!

One of the great perks of my coaching job is that my off-season lines up perfectly with the real estate busy season! I’ve researched the possibilities of becoming a real estate agent for about two years now, but only God knows the perfect timing. That time is now.

I am THRILLED to finally be a real estate agent, and even more excited to be working for Raven Realty! I met Jill and Bill three years ago when their daughter, Stella, was a student in one of my dance classes at Misty’s Dance Unlimited. It has been great to keep in touch with the Raven’s over the years, and now I get to work with them daily!

I’m so excited to HUSTLE for my clients. With me as your realtor you can always expect clear and honest communication, a friendly face, a diligent work ethic, and a positive outlook. I can’t wait to work for your dreams!
