Amy Korger- REALTOR®

Hi, my name is Amy Korger! I am 4th generation, born and raised in La Crosse where I attended Logan High School. You can call me a “northsider” – proud of it!

After high school my dream was design school, but my wallet wouldn’t allow it. I was able to attend Viterbo University on scholarship, FA, and I worked two jobs. My focus was Business, emphasis in Marketing with a dream in Design. My goal, one day, was to own my own Design Business to help others create a space on intention. Things don’t just happen overnight…

After College I started my career as a Banker for a local bank, here in La Crosse, WI. I believe my role as a banker was part of my evolution and has led me into real estate. I like to continue my education myself and educate my clients in all aspects of real estate. Finding a house is more than just “finding a house”. The same goes for selling your home. Real estate is the largest investment so we must have a powerful understanding of client goals and the market.

On top of my banking experience I married one talented Carpenter/General Contractor. My husband Nathan has years of experience building houses, 10 years of roofing experience, and an attention to detail and work ethic like my own. We both own and operate our family business, Korger and Sons, LLC.  We design and construct large+small residential projects as well as small commercial spaces.  My mind is fluent in construction, which has also carried over into real estate knowledge.

When I am not working… I love spending my free time with my husband (I love working with him too) and my two beautiful boys.  Nathan and I have two young boys, Easton and Eli. I enjoy cheerleading my kids in baseball, football, basketball, and golf (shh), while Nathan sits court side coaching Big E in Baseball and Basketball. We also love fishing, trail and mountain biking, as well as boating, in the summer months and downhill skiing in the winter. We have started running together and plan to do our 3rd 5k. When we aren’t running around from one activity to the other we find ourselves volunteering (use your talents to help others), chilling at a Brewers game or cheering on the Packers.

The best way to help ourselves is to help others— I strongly believe my life has to be a service for other people. The purpose of my career choice is to give back by educating my clients through their real estate transactions with the knowledge and experience I have.  I want to be a guiding hand who takes on the stressors of selling or buying.

My goal this year is to work more with non-profits; helping those in our community who need basic maintenance on their homes and continuing making our donations (appliances/ lightly used construction material) through Korger and Sons (when you hire K+S we donate gently used items). I am working towards starting a Non-Profit to help my community I love so much.
